I found my way to your profile via StBrigidsFlame's journal. We are very close friends. I had to write because it seems like we may have a lot in common. My husband just got out of the Navy last year. So glad that is over. I am from Georgia and last April was diagnosed with PCOS. I am also on Metformin and currently struggling with infertility. My question is this..did you have your children naturally or with assistance? Did the military catch your PCOS? Of course, the AF medical is much better than the Navy. The navy didn't catch anything with me and had me on clomid for over a year when they finally referred me to an "outside" doctor. Who in turn immediately found a grapefruit sized cyst caused by the clomid. When I had surgery he then found a blocked tube. I could have sued the military medical for malpractice because they did not follow the correct procedure for Clomid. I didn't, who wants to fight with the gov't? You will never win. 3 months later we moved outside of Nashville, TN and visited a Fertility Clinic ( ... )

Hey. My husband is in the Air Force and we have been stationed at Elmendorf. I am really wanted to make new friends so that I know people when we move up there. This is our first base assignment. He is actually still in tech school and we are supposed to be up there the first part of May. I hope that we can talk. Please let me know.

I have a few friends that are getting here in May, I think you will enjoy it here the winter can be kinda hard, especially if you don't keep yourself busy BUT it's not too bad at all. Tell me more about yourself, feel free just to post it in your journal and I'll read there :0)
