The grammar police assure me they approve of shim (and shis) in this case. The invasion moment, when personal care products begin to establish beachheads in the other's house, is a significant turning point.

I was recently at a party with a lot of old college friends. They barely know my girlfriend but kept asking "where's your girlfriend? Where's your girlfriend?" Hello! We went to school together! I haven't seen you in a year and a half! Forget her already! But yeah... I can't either.
