Last night, I had a good dinner at a Greek place downtown called Opa!, and saw My Date With Drew and Corpse Bride at the festival (the latter being an advanced screening, with security folks brandishing metal detectors and what seemed to be infrared cameras, in search of bootleggers I suppose). I was very surprised to learn that Halifax gets more rain than any part of the country - including Vancouver.

Oh, Calgary gets the most sunny days.

email me with your mailing address, and I can send you an antenna better than the one we mcgyvered... it's one you can hook up to a VCR. I have no VCR anymore, so I have a couple of antennas sitting around doing nothing. You have that round coax jack on your TV right? Or do you have the 2 screws thingy? I forget. Do you have a VCR?

Ah, no worries about the tv- I'm rooming with my friend Jeff starting November, and he's got satellite =)

I didn't see any bootleggers getting caught anyhow.. At first my friend thought the dudes with wands checking purses at the door were going to nail her for trying to smuggle in a pop ... heh heh.
