Just got back from sushi with my vball friends... On a dare, I put the entire glob of wasabi paste that came with my maki rolls in my mouth and chewed on it till it was gone. It was gross, and made my eyes water. And a started coughing, much to the delight of my friends. Good to know I can bring joy to others so easily. =)

Yes, wasabi is hot =) Usually, you mix a small amount of it with soya sauce as a dip for the maki rolls... popping a gumball-sized chunk of it is... hm. Painful.
