I just spent an hour and a half giving a long dissertation on some of the shallower ins and outs of real magic over Facebook to a young lad whom I hope never takes it upon himself to actually try it.

I never thought I'd actually have to say, in seriousness and to someone my own age, that unicorns are not actual, catchable creatures.

Oy vey.

I would dearly love to eat a toaster streudel or two right now, but I can't convince myself that it's worth the extra four hundred calories.

Okay, for real now, if one more thing goes to shit, I'm never getting out of bed again.

So I just felt the kind of tingle on my head and down my spine that I get when I connect with someone's Higher Self, only I wasn't doing it. I was being connected to, not doing the connecting. I shelded, and it went away, but it's quite strange.
