What a wild ride this was! monicawoe and nwspaprtaxis wrote a perfectly delicious fic! As per my usual, I was dragging ass getting art pulled together, but I did manage some lovely Ruby (and Sam's lovely back, so ... ) Not a complete failure!

I found it! 'Twas buried in my elerts. Sooooooo.... Sam is VERY shiny in the main pic. Love how you've bulked him up so much, just like the fic, so it almost feels like he's going to burst out of overstretched skin. LOVE the soft pencil showing through in the Ruby portrait and of course, the last one...ahem. I confess, I did crack up that you called it dinner though. Bwhahahah! Hoping to see larger versions when you post on your journal? (You know I'm obsessed with zooming in on folks's artings).

I literally GASPED OUT LOUD when monicawoe showed me the cover art. I mean, the BEAUTY OF HIS BARE GLOWING BACK TOOK MY BREATH AWAY. Just, gone.

And then I appreciated how very well this fits the story, I love how Ruby is the one with agency (and clothes!) and Sam is both and idol and a landscape. A role that usually the female character plays.

Queen Ruby, looking flawless.

And that last one--UNF AS HELL, all the better for what it leaves to the imagination.
