uhh....a lil help?

I'm still confused on how to post fanarts and lj cuts and stuff. The Lj FAQ does not make it any simpler to understand D: Mind giving me some 'understandable' ways on how to post through lj cuts? I would appreciate if you kind people would. Sorry for being such a n00b XD I'm still not used to lj sinced i only joined just recently.

I don't get it either! I did exactly what that FAQ said, but it just disappears and everything's still left on the main post.
I thought that maybe you had to post it in order for the cut to work, but evidently not :/

It took me a fuckin long time to get it xD
& it takes a long time till it works xD

1. The LJ Cut just work with html! That means, that you switch your text to html (it's on the right side)
2. Than you copy "lj-cut text="Read More" <-- don't forget the ">...<" at the end and the beginning!(You can change the "Read more" into anything you like) and put this into the text which you want to hide
3. that you close the section with /lj-cut <-- don't forget the ">....<" at the end and the beginning!
