SO we felt the earthquake (centered in Virginia) in Philly. Im in an office building so the first thing i thought was something rumbling from the street but as it went on i realized it was either structural issues with the building or an earthquake. All seems to be going slowly back to normal here, although landlines and cells are still spotty.

Yeah, the USGS site said that earthquakes around there
are often felt within 300 miles...

I didn't feel anything in my building, but my dad and brothers called me freaking out. And tons of offices in the area were evacuated for a short while. I feel sort of cheated in that I didn't actually experience anything but the panic afterward.

Yeah, that does seem unfair.
Seriously,
if you have to deal with the aftermath,
you should at least get some of the excitement...
