I'm not a fan of small children (especially at the theatre) omg amen to this. When I saw Paranormal Activity 2 these idiots brought babies and small children in. I don't know who I was more annoyed at, the noisy kids or the idiot parents.
Your cat is AWESOME.
*wants to smack your high school boyfriend*
Eggs are disgusting. I am so glad you see this. I thought I was the only one.
What is the class ring thing about? I hear Americans talk about their class rings and don't really know what they mean but am so curious!
I wanna see penguins at a zoo! I saw polar bears at Sea World on the Gold Coast which was amazing, but I felt sorry for them in a Qld climate.
You aren't the only one that finds eggs gross. I don't know what the big deal is about them. I find them squishy and disgusting.
I also don't know what the deal is with parents bringing small children to rated R movies. I can't decide if it's lazy or bad parenting.
Class rings are a big deal here for high school students. I got mine my sophomore year (second year), and I think it's one of those things where it's probably the only piece of personalized jewelery most of us will ever own. A ring typically has your name and the year you graduate engraved in it along with pictures of things you were involved in. Mine has a band image on one side and an arts image on the other along with my name inside the band. Most people chose a stone for the ring that has meaning (usually a birth stone). I chose my stone based on the prettiest color for the cut I chose. I guess it's really just a status symbol.
I know a lot of people who go by just "Connie", but I think I only know one other person whose full name is Constance. It's kind of a 1950s name. That's what I get for letting my parents name me. They wanted to call me Celestia, for god's sake.
And, of course, me and katie087 up there have the opposite problem: So many people who go by "Katie" have a different full name, but we're both just Katie!
