but I'm proud to have made it to the age of 20, as someone technically American, without getting a driver's license: cheers to third culture kids! :-) Personally i think that it is very sad. Driving is a very essential skill that we have to learn unless we can afford to pay others to drive for us.

Not all things legal and required come with a certified license :P. Quite a few parents would find themselves unemployed ;).

Beat you all, i learnt how to drive when i was 10 :D. Naturally dad didn't want me driving the car and my bike was a more appealing option. Do you guys use manual gears or automatic?

I have only driven manual cars, by the looks of it, automatic cars are way easier then manual cars.
