Holy crap, what an awful awful thing to do. I don't know how helpful the Turkish embassy in Holland is, but maybe you should ask around there, too?

Re: Namibia. I'll have no money, which is problematic. But... dang.

I'm not quite sure what to say, but I hope it all gets worked out soon, ja?

Namibia sounds cool, except I cannot go, Graduation and all. Who thought I#d have to go through the whole mess a second time round?

For south africa, we took south african ariles. PIA doesn't fly there. It was a rather pleasent flight, our tickets got upgraded for free ;). This was back in 1996, there might be a few new airlines operating. KLM might be an option, they tend to give student discounts.

As for signing that document, it is rather bad. But knowing those systems are not above corruptions, listening to requests, it can get solved. Not like things over here, where you meet a wall and any mistakes will keep on re-occurring in your file. Speaking with the embassy in Holland or Germany would be helpful as well.

Depending on your accommodations, you might get to live in a big house (maybe). They still have one huge house on one hill, another house on another hill. But somehow i don't think they will be spoiling you with those kind of houses :).

As for Namibia, i will be working most likely this summer. So i am bound here to canada.
