I think it started as lung cancer, but spread.
She didnt do anything about it 'till too late. she was only 45 (i was 11)

that IS a sweet thing to do.
i think cancer patients should go bald because i think they look beautiful bald. i know the first time i saw my grandmother without her hair in the hospital was very traumatic but i thought she looked so beautiful.
if its your desire to wear hair, then that cause is a good one. :)

I think many of them hate to go bald because they already feel outcasted with their disease, so they just want to fit in as much as possible, with hair and such. :)

I cut hair for a living and I always encourage my clients to donate their hair for wigs when they cut a lot off. There is a program called "locks of love" that you can donate your hair to. I am going to try to get our salon involved in that program.

That's awesome that you're trying to get involved with it, I think it's a wonderful program.
