Skydiving improved my mood...I managed to achieve a couple of my goals (actually counting out loud until the shute pulls and watching the plane--which was pretty good for me, since it's taken me four jumps to actually have my eyes open while falling), but failed to land properly again. I need to get around to skydiving. Don't know how well that will work since I'm terrified of falling.

Slight coincidence, I'm going to a strawberry festival tomorrow. Mmmm, strawberries.

The weird thing is, if you go tandem, which is a great first time because you get a long free fall and don't really need to worry about doing anything, the shock of falling only lasts about two seconds. Literally. I think once your brain realizes "oh, we didn't hit the ground," you feel more like you're riding the wind than falling. Then once the shute is pulled, it's very peaceful. If you jump tandem, you should also get a nice, gentle landing :)
Almost no one hits the ground unhappy that they did it. Very cool experience.

I got up at 6:30am to go picking, and yet, one of the few things worth it! Have fun at the festival :)

Tandem sounds like fun.

Blasted boyfriend forgot about the festival and is taking his kids swimming instead....for like six hours! They get bored with anything after an hour, swimming is no different. *sigh* Wonder if the best friend can go instead.
