I had recent opportunity to rewatch the prequels (along with the originals) with Star Wars-loving friends.
After about 15 minutes of Ep 2 (we skipped 1; look up 'Machete Order'), I apologized and just started MST3King 2 and 3, hard. I feel this improved the experience. :3
Am I even more out of touch for being totally unfamiliar with the first two? (Also I just realized how long ago I started my own big review-of-things post that's still sitting around as a draft.)
the subtle metaphysical happenings seem to exist to make Brennan look stubborn/naive when she tries to find a logical explanation for them.
Man, I hate that sort of portrayal of atheists/scientists.
Star Wars prequels: [...] these movies were terrible.
