Although the library has been somewhat busy today with the school session earlier and a few inmates coming in to check out or simply read books, there's a lull in the work. Fewer books being taken off the shelves means fewer that need to be put back, after all. Less shelving, less cleaning, less work.
Homura is already feeling a bit tired from the afternoon shift so far. Although her stamina is better than it was when she first left the hospital, it's still not the greatest. At least she's managed to make it this far, and the work isn't extremely difficult. This place hasn't been utterly horrible as it could be, like if those jokes in the rulebook were real. It may not be real comfortable living here, but she has managed to buy a few cheap but comfortable outfits at the Gift Shop and ribbons for her hair, which has helped some. And, Madoka is here, having opted to work beside her, along with an even younger boy she barely knows in the library.
Homura lets out a light sigh, sitting down in a chair at one of the front tables for a break.
