Warnings: Oichi is weird.
The prison is harsh. Its walls, its floors. The windowless concrete of it all, the ugly construction, the lack of decoration. It is harsh and it is cool, and the air about it all is afraid and hushed. It reminds her of home, something she'd wanted to keep far away. She thinks of the place she'd been sent after conviction, its quiet an entirely different entity than this place's.
And so, Oichi decides that she hates every last bit of this place.
She wanders. The prison is as vast as it is ugly. She isn't used to being able to go where she pleases-- it'd been a mere two weeks in the institution, but it was one full of schedules and tight monitoring.
1) The first place she stops is the CP shop. Oichi follows the map in the book she has yet to properly read, and finds it easily. She doesn't like the feel of the jumpsuit, its fabric itches her skin, so quickly changes into a dress and pays for it. She wanders out, tugging on the skirt of her dress, and carefully spins around.
2) Next is the cafeteria. She goes there, buys herself some mochi, and sits to eat. Her eyes go out across the room and she doesn't shy away from making eye contact with anyone. When she does lock eyes with someone, she very nearly smiles and hides her mouth with her hands, tilting her head.
3) And after that, she heads to the courtyard. She sits in the dirt by the flowers for a long time, when a cloud covers the sun she'd been basking in. She looks up at the sky and Oichi frowns deeply. She viciously rips the flower she'd been holding and then cries. It's not just a little bit, either-- it's the kind of crying that rakes your entire body and leaves you gasping for breath.
