1. Despite being a Spartan, Hyacinth has never had much of a liking for Ares or war, though he does think war is important.
2. Don't let him fool you- he's still very stuck on archaic traditions, but he forces himself to adapt to the modern world, because he's well aware of how stupid he'd look otherwise.
3. He has a soft spot for dogs, though mostly the hunting type. Still, he won't be proof against a cockapoo or anything.
4. Actually, Hyacinth reminds the mun of a golden retriever puppy. Eager to please and easy to hurt emotionally.
5. He's easily jealous, and he hates seeing Apollo give his affection away so easily, but hey. Apollo's a god, and he knows that jealousy will only push the god away, and he doesn't want it, so he keeps it down to a minimum.
6. He secretly makes sacrifices to the gods according to the culture he was brought up with. His foster family doesn't know, because he presents the front of an atheist with leanings towards Christianity in front of them.
7. Though, with the influx of information about them, the sacrifices aren't quite as traditional. (Pies as offerings, yes? :D;;)
8. He dreads Apollo tiring of him. Really, really dreads. He quashes the voice in his head whenever it brings the topic up, but it worries him a lot.
9. Because he doesn't have proper education according to this era, he studies in a vocational school, and works part time as a waiter. /random bullshit that might be edited with thorough research.
10. He's very protective of those that he considers close, and would gladly die for them.
11. As a Spartan, Hyacinth does what is right. Doing the right thing matters a lot to him. There is no such thing as the greater good- even if everyone can't be saved, he'll try.
12. Honour is also very important to him. Unless given a very good reason, he won't lie to you or go behind your back. Unfortunately, this leads him to be a bit too honest and forthright at times- aka, he can have zero tact. But he tries~
13. He loves his ice cream waffles.
14. Although he misses his old lifestyle, he loves modern amenities, like free-flowing hot water and fridges. Because they give him ice cream.
15. For all that he's devoted to Apollo, Hyacinth's given to a bit of flirting here and there, to both males and females alike.
16. He's a bit sneery of the gods of other pantheons, but he won't voice them aloud, because he knows it's stupid and it will cause him trouble.
17. He hates rats. They scare him a little. But shhh, no one knows that, because Hyacinth is a manly Spartan. >|
18. Among the gods, Hyacinth likes Hestia and Hermes, for what they preside over.
19. He's really good at sports, partly because of his Spartan training, and because of what Apollo taught him about gymnastics. But he still sucks at surfing and related watersports.
