Well, that was the end of the day; for Hyacinth, at least. He wiped down the last of the tables, glad to see the lunch crowd leave the cafe. It'd certainly been crowded today, more so than the last few days, and a lack of staff currently didn't really help much

It was, as it often was when Apollo was around, sunny and lovely out - the downtown area was populated by bicyclists and walkers, families happy to enjoy some sunshine as they window shopped and doted on the children they pulled in wagons. He was hopeful he would catch Hyacinth working - he has never had a need or a real desire to properly work a mortal job, but the thought fascinated him.

No matter how long he'd known the god, it seemed that he never failed to send his heart beating just a little faster whenever he saw him; especially now, when they hadn't seen each other for a long while.

("Beloved, I have missed you so." ♥ X))

"I've missed you too," he murmured, beaming brightly at the sun god. "Come on, I'll get an apple or two for Chrysilla, then I'll bring you to my house."
He didn't tug on Apollo's hand as he usually would have done, but he did place a hand on his shoulder and gently guide him into the small grocer's, content for the moment with the light touch.
