I'm really NOT laughing at your pain here, I swear, but oh dear LORD you are hysterical! But I feel you on this because I'm the same way.

Completely unrelated, but I have a burn on my leg from bumping into the space heater so I have this grate-like pattern on my leg and every time I look down at it, it itches because it reminds me of snake skin, but when I don't look at it and think it looks like snake skin, then it DOESN'T itch, but when I look at it and think 'OMG, LOOK AT MY SNAKE SKIN BURN' then it itches.

i will believe you and take that as a compliment.

that's sorta like how you get a papercut and it hurts only when you realize it.

carry a little bottle of lotion around and put it on every time you want to itch it.

i'm glad i'm not alone.

I read the fanfiction you wrote called High School Wet Dream.

I just love the history! You're such a good writer.
