[Saix turns towards Vexen, his brain sending signals to his mouth to form a reply, to ask how long Vexen had been out, if they had all suffered the same--
But it's a train of thought that stops dead, leaving Saix in silence.]
These? [Vexen touches them as though he's surprised, and his voice seems to show it. He's expressive, despite the change in his anatomy.]
It appears to be part of the event. They're surprisingly comfortable, though I'm not sure I'm comfortable with how they alter my perception. [He incllines his head at Saix, managing a small smile.]
Regardless, you're here, so that's at least one worry off my mind.
[Suspicion makes camp in Saix's mind, but as ever, it doesn't bother to cross Saix's face. Vexen is behaving strangely, but in the throes of an event, that is normal.
Events change you, without you realising that they have, and you can believe that everybody else is different without ever realising that you have changed too. Saix knows that.]
