since my myspace would seem like such a waste

i've decided to once again post movie reviews only for the weeks tyler is in basic
that way i can keep myself somewhat a float since i'll be watching a lot of movies without him. That means about 9 weeks of movies

december 17th - jan 03 i will not post one
i'm still deciding about after feburary seeing as how tyler's graduating from basic during that time

oceans:

- An ecological drama/documentary, filmed throughout the globe. Part thriller, part meditation on the vanishing wonders of the sub-aquatic world. - pierce bronsan's voice is so soothing you can actually feel it i really like this documentary i just wish disney did more with it than say show it at a time and place no one really wanted to see a movie. I'd reconmend it for people who like documentaries and want a better look at our oceans - 4/5

cats: caressing the tiger:
House cats have much in common with their larger wild relatives. - i know this is a documentary from 1988 however it doesn't feel that way to me i was actually intrigued the whole way through and it does teach something new. I'd reconmend it to cat lovers of all ages - 5/5

when dinosaurs ruled: you can't make fun of jeff goldblum in fact i don't know how he does it but he makes this movie strangely boring..yes you have a bunch of facts but it's not really in any kind of informative way - 1/5

swamp tigers:

- so we watched the man poke at a piece of tiger fieces and he kept going on about it i don't know about anyone else but that's creepy again it's a boring movie - 1/5

ramona and beezus:

- Follows the misadventures of young grade schooler Ramona Quimby from Beverly Cleary's popular children's book series. - i read these books as a child i really adored them especially the relationship between the two sisters. I must admit ramona is cute. If you've read the books I urge you to go see the movie it's just as good despite all the changes -5/5

grown ups:

- After their high school basketball coach passes away, five good friends and former teammates reunite for a Fourth of July holiday weekend. - i decided to watch this because tyler told me it was good; tyler of course says a lot of things and most of the time the movies he picks out for me are bad. This cast however is ideal for a comedy because you'd think they'd be funny they're not. The lines are cliche and the ending is cliche. It just felt like a bad version of SNL - 2/5
