upon reading this essay i found a couple of enlightening little paradoxes (i think) that surround us in the world. the author speaks of the contrasts that we have now in such a technological age. how we can make enormous journeys in short spaces of time and speak to anyone in the world instantaneously. but yet rather than enjoy the massive ( Read more... )

Hey andrew,
We seem to have both responded to this in the same sense.As today's generation is too caught up with the advancements in technology rather than priotising their lives around their family. I enjoy this, great work..

Hey Andrew,
Interesting take on the reading you got here. Whether we like it or not however, we in society at this very time are living in an age of vastly increasing quantifiable technology. Modernisation is occurring rapidly.
Therefore, agreeing to what you are saying our society today, its socially valued resources include, internet, the computer and of course mass media.
