Oh, lord. I thought I had an iron stomach until that day. I once ate dinner at the station with someone puking their guts up every five minutes just on the other side of a wall.
I used to sit in this little glass bubble that was vaguely positive pressure to check people in. We had electronic controlled double doors to get back to the treatment areas. When those doors opened, I would get a big influx of air from outside the bubble.
I was checking in this guy and he had told me he had a "fever". Then the doors opened and I nearly lost my lunch. I don't think I will ever forget that. Ever.
