I haven't talked about this in detail anywhere else and I want to, so I guess the best thing is to blurt it all out here. This is way, way TMI (and occasionally humiliating), but I am still trying to process everything.

Huh, LJ somehow decided to post this while I was still halfway through writing it! So I guess there will be part 2 coming.

I think there is a happy ending? It's a year later, and I /finally/ feel better. But I haven't had the surgery I am supposed to have yet!
