Just after 7am, a blaring alarm began to sound throughout the camp. At a tiny console set up in the front of the main hall, a screen flared to life and blinked with an incoming message.
Dean heard the alarm, but he was ignoring it. Let the hell hole burn.
Until Sam threw something at him and he sat up, glaring through hazy eyes. Reluctantly, he got to his feet, got dressed, and headed out after his brother with his gun in hand.
He followed the sound to the main hall and stepped inside, making his way over to the computer screen and peering at the message. "SON OF A BITCH!"
"That doesn't help, Sam." Dean glared at his brother. He didn't care what other cars were with his. The fact that his car was out there meant nothing would be okay until he got her back.
He looked over at the map Sam was examining. He noticed that it was no area that was even remotely familiar to him. Where the fuck were they, anyway? "Considering the amount of hardware in the armory, I'm guessing it's nothing friendly. We should maybe track down some of the others and get some backup. See if anyone knows how to use a gun."
Dairine, of course, went to go find out what was going on. This place was even more disorganized than the Castle had been, or at least more unfriendly, or something, and she figured the only way she was going to find out anything was to be everywhere at once. That wasn't easy, considering the fact that Spot still wasn't working right. So that meant walking, which was fine by her.
She read the message with some puzzlement, mainly wondering who had sent it. As usual, some bigger power was involved, and as usual, they were being all secretive. She was tired of all these games.
But, at least, this was an excuse to get outside the walls and look around a little bit.
"Well, Spot," she said, even though he wasn't talking back, "Looks like we're going adventuring."
