Have you ever fallen out of love with someone? I've just realized that about the guy I have been in love with forever, but could never have...I don't love him that way anymore.

Somehow, that hurts even more than the realization that I could never be with him. Am I that fickle and pathetic?

I've never fallen out of love with someone... at least not someone I was really in love with (as opposed to mildly obsessed with :P) but I understand emotions are just weird sometimes. Best to take them in stride.

You're not fickle or pathetic. It occasionally happens, especially when you know you can never have the one you fell in love with. I myself recently had to end a relationship with someone who just pretty much stopped acting romantic towards me.
