Salt Lake City

Some pictures from SLC I took yesterday.

The downtown area reminds me of Portland a bit. It's very pretty, clean, and the architecture is old and quite stylish.

The mountains surrounding the city remind me of that game, Sim City, where you can create your own town in the middle of no-where. I always used to build cities that were surrounded by mountains.

A neat walkway.

There is a lot of street art - like this tile. They also have the same type of above ground public transportation, like the MAX.

I really liked this building. The lines are crisp and clean, and the building is situated between two angled streets.

Older architecture.

These were in a back alley somewhere, and it caught my eye.

And my favorite. I love this picture because these birds were in the window of this run down brick building in the same alleyway. For some reason they were inspiring and I took tons of pictures of them just chilling.

Some pictures of the festival to come later! Tonight is Voice Industrie, I couldn't be happier.
