I love the nighttime.. the knowledge that as most people sleep, others are active; working, playing.. i always had a feeling when i was little that i was missing out on something.. i'd watch the sky get darker from my window and wonder if some day i'd find out what happened after bed time. i think listening to radio 1 probably fuelled my curiosity ( Read more... )

One of my favorite memories is flying back over the UK at night - we came in over the Irish Sea and followed the south welsh coast, and you could see the coastline spelt out in lights. When we got over London, we went down a bit, and flew across London before turning around and back, and it was like a sea of lights stretched out below me.

It was a real pain leaving New York at 7:30am, but to get back into London at that time? Pricless.
