Away Messages

It bugs the hell out of me when people post what they are doing on their away messages. "I'm at the mall with amy, jo, and jon" "I'm out tanning right now" "I have a hermit crab interior designing my large intestion right now" "I'm shaving my gay uncle's chesthair into a bra" If you are actually out and about for the day then why don't you just

Back long ago, in the years when AOL was God of the universe and ruler of all that was internet, I had some pretty witty away messages. They were never up for very long though -- if you were going to be away from your computer, you disconnected from aol cuz $2.95 a minute insane.
Now, I use the standard "I'm away from my computer" message; and only when I'm going to be in the bathroom or whatever. Or if I'm talking to someone and I don't want anyone else to interrupt, I'll talk with the away message on.

I do still like the one where the guy's message said "I'm in the shower................................................................................................STOP THINKING ABOUT ME NAKED!"
