Even if the choices differ, you're still you. Of course, the experience you have is still different, but how much does really change? As long as others recognize you.
Look. If you mean a completely different memories, like, for example, alternate world, then the person is different. However, if you mean the same person but having the memories others don't...
Tell me, is your mother a different person? Is Roy different? Is Maes a completely different person than the one you know and care for?

I should think so.
Not only is the existence of the soul debatable at best, but- how often does an occurrence pop up where someone has different memories than what they should? I suppose it's rather common in Adstring.
Memories are certainly a part of us. But that's not what makes us who we are. The people we meet and the lives we affect shape who we are, I think. If some things are different, that's just this place messing with different universes. Ultimately--if it's your brother you mean--he's still your brother, no matter what memories he has or doesn't have.

At least a slightly diffrent person, since memories form the character...

I think you're talking about one who left and come back so...
If he hasn't changed much during his first stay, I think, he's the same person now...

I'm wondering if I am the same.

What an odd question to ask.

And even then, they won't know you.

I would imagine people are always the same, but life changes them slightly when it takes a different direction.
For instance, what if the Lieutenant and I never came to visit?

He's... my brother. I love him. That's all. That's the end of it.
I'm just... afraid of him... not feeling the same.
