[It doesn't seem to cause him any pain to talk about it. Instead, he sounds wistful.]

For a couple of months, yeah. I never grew up with him around, so it was nice.

Mine was too... for a week when I was here.

Mr. Minato was a great hero where you're from... and when he talked to me he was always kind. He's intelligent, and protective. I felt safe whenever he was around. Like even if something came for us, with him watching over the situation, we would all come out all right.

I'm here, if you want to talk about it, Al.

It's just that... I've been here so long now, that... there are only a couple of people who remember as much as I do. Ms. Unohana and Vincent. And there are people who have been here so many times, that...
I've sort of... forgotten what they'll remember, and what they won't. So much has happened that I get things mixed up. I'll start a conversation with someone I used to know, and then... realize they don't know me half as well. So I'll backtrack, forget, need to repeat things, and sometimes I'll miss things that are important.
Sometimes I feel like the rock in the river that isn't taken along with the rest of the current.
