Well, here's my latest acquisition, one Ash Divale, snarky warlock extraordinare. He's a Doll in Mind Minimee based on Vincent Valentine from FFVII, and he finally has a body of his own.
I don't have a Ash icon, so have a little demon instead...ashkaztraApril 18 2009, 03:01:26 UTC
It is a wonderful colour scheme, isn't it? And it's going to look even better when I get his black-haired and lightly tanned boyfriend home. Contrasts, yay!
I'm quite happy with how I've managed to retain the things I love about the head without making him look like Vincent. Not that looking like Vincent is a bad thing, of course, it just isn't what I wanted for Ash.
Besides, I think I have enough game characters waiting to move in. *eyes plans for Sydney Losstarot doll* That one is going to kill me.

Me too. I have two tanned dolls, both of which are paired with white-skinned ones, and I'll have another of those pairings when I get Ash's lover home. He'll be an Iplehouse Akando Special.
I've been trying to resist the urge, both because modding his arms will kill me dead, and because I'll need a Ashley Riot to keep him company, and that will mean I'll have two dolls named Ashley. Yay, confusion. Though Ash would maim anyone who called him that, and I have a feeling Ashley will probably be addressed mostly as Riskbreaker or Riot. So much love for VS, really. I had to replay it all over again after a few sessions of roleplaying where our GM was all but describing the catacombs under Léa Monde. Though he had gotten inspired by Raithwall's Tomb in FFXII, which I still think is one of the places in the game that most reminded me of VS, so...
The Sydney-doll has to wait, though. Won't have the money until I have a proper job, so not until autumn at earliest.

He looks very striking, yet not like a "Vincent Valentine" per se. You've done great things with him.

Ooh, now you've piqued my interest with this mention of a Sydney Losstarot. ♥ I SO wish they'd sequel Vagrant Story, but on the PS3.
