I'm home!
Wow, I've been gone a long time--almost a year! I'll explain a couple things, but I won't go too far in depth.
Last December, I got a new job. I worked a lot of overtime and was too exhausted to do icons when I got home. So there was reason number one. In February, I had a lot of personal problems, which made my life hell.
I wound up quitting my job because of some extremely unsafe (i.e., potentially life-threatening) working conditions that I didn't even come close to being paid enough to deal with and my boss wasn't doing a very good job of preventing. I really can't tell you anything specific for legal reasons--some of these conditions may or may not be going to court. So I'll just say I worked with some people who need to be committed/sent to jail and leave it at that. I now have a new job where I can essentially work from home. All is well again.
And it seems the arrival of autumn has been enough inspiration for me to start making icons again. I have about 90 right now and I'll be uploading them soon. I'm very excited to be posting again. ^_^
(I seem to be having layout issues. Guys: don't ever use Fotki to host images. They're great if you have the money to pay for the service...but if you use their free service they will let your images FREQUENTLY disappear into cyber space. And if you call them out on it, they'll put them back for a couple days and say, "I don't know what you're talking about. They're right there." And then let them disappear again. Ugh. I've been slowly moving things over to Photobucket...I hope to finish eventually. -_- I also just edited this post to add a section on image hosts.)
