Nanao, Shunsui and Jushiro fic
I saw Bleach 2 Diamond Dust and felt so very complied to write an alternate to Shunsui's injuries so this is going to be placed under a cut for possible spoilers.
Nanao lurched forward from her chair unable to keep herself occupied while Shunsui was in the fourth division and it was all her fault.
Captain Ukitake had tried to make her see how it wasn't, but all Nanao saw was her Captain's battered and bloody form.
The dainty lt. pressed her hands into her mouth to muffle her sobs. She was going to do it. Lt. Nanao Ise would avenge her Captain. The small boned woman stood and walked out of the eighth division and away from everything knowing that this would most likely be her
last fight. Flash stepping to the fourth division to say her last goodbyes and words she could never say to Shunsui Kyoraku when
he was conscious.
With a soft breath she placed her lips to Shunsui's and using the barest whisper, "I love you, I always have." Then disappeared
with even quicker steps then the ones that brought her her. Lt. Ise had a mission and she was not going to back down.
Nanao let out a soft squeak when she was drawn back against a thinner chest then her Captain's.
"Don't," the soft voice of Jushiro Ukitake spoke.
"I don't know what you mean, Captain Ukitake." Nanao said polite as always.
"Don't throw your life away like this...he wouldn't want it. Going to fight them will not help and it would just make him worry."
Jushiro said his words burning the lt.
"Do you both think me that unable to handle myself?" Lt. Ise snapped back.
"You are very able Nanao, it isn't that...we just can't help, but to worry." Jushiro said softly.
"Why?" Nanao whispered all most in tears again, she had cried enough, now was the time for action not tears.
"Go to him," Jushiro whispered.
Nanao's resolve was faltering, but she still could not back down.
Jushiro knew that so he did the only thing that he could and put the unsuspecting lt. in a binding kido.The white haired Captain knew that it was only a matter of time until she broke free so he took her in his arms after a whispered, "I am sorry." and flash stepped them both to fourth.
Lt. Isane was shocked when Captain Ukitake barreled in claiming that Lt. Ise needed to be restrained, but making sure that she could see Captain Kyoraku. Even with the shock Kotetsu did as she was told. Ukitake hurried off to make sure that things would be dealt with.
