I'm just gonna dispense with the whole "So sorry I haven't updated in so long, I suck, etc etc" part of this post, because it just takes up too much space we could be devoting to other, much more fun things. Instead, let's get straight to the Fun. We'll start with the big thing I'm not even gonna put under a cut - So there. Namely: The Facebook fanRead more... )

HAHA!! Fruit of my loins. Jesus christ.

This bromance is hilarious. My dad and his best friend have the same thing going on. So for Christmas a few years ago my mother got them each matching toolbelts. There's an idea for you.

I'm glad? you're not pregnant. I guess I feel weird saying that because aren't babies supposed to be cause for happiness and everything? But I'm childless by choice too (not that I have anyone to be with child by but you know) so I can imagine what kind of feelings an unwanted pregnancy might bring around.

At least you escaped Boston without getting hitched. Although that will be an excellent story to tell once you do get hitched. Oh, knock on wood.

I'd like you on FB but I don't have an FB. So please to be keeping me updated re: AtB-EA.

Hee - matching toolbelts. My brother would be in heaven; ever since TC came into my life, he's gotten disconcertingly handy around his own house. Not quite as effectively as TC, though - my sister-in-law pretty much cringes every time he announces he's going to fix something. I may have to give this toolbelt idea some serious consideration.

After I wrote this entry, I felt bad about the whole freak-out thing, as well, because you're right - I mean, in general babies are a good thing. I even like babies. My nieces are two of my favorite people on the planet. I just don't think me and babies is a good thing.

I'll definitely keep you - and everyone on LJ - posted on all the Angels developments as they unfold. No worries there!

LMAO, you did not tell me about the Fruit of the loin comment. I would remember if you did. Regardless, too much.

At any rate, glad we escaped Boston without getting married - I would've been pissed about not even receiving an invite and you can tell TC that ;) Seriously though, as great of a story it would make, knowing where you stand, it would be too much too fast.

The bromance convo? Still funny, even just reading it. What a pair.

Already liked the page and waiting for the beginning of the month! Talk to you soon :D

Okay, first off... I just love your icon. It's just such a nice thing to look up and see SB lounging, looking thoughtful. He's so purty.

I left out the "Fruit of the loin" comment? That was one of the best parts of the whole night. The boy is ridiculous. Cute, but ridiculous. And I agree that while getting hitched at midnight in Boston might have made a good anecdote, it would've been too fast. I will be sure to send along an invite when/if the time comes. :)

The next time we Skype I am totally going to call you sugar pants. Not even joking. ;)

I'm really glad you didn't get married in Boston, but only because, as Liz said, I expect to be invited to the wedding. Eloping like that is just out of the question when you've got fangirls who want to be there, dammit.

I will never tire of hearing about the bromance between your brother and TC. And you know what it kinda reminds me off? Booth's mancrush on Tripp. See? Everything can be related back to fic, I'm telling ya.

Thanks for the update, and I'll tell you again that I'm happy Aunt Flo finally showed up for her visit. Not cool of her to dawdle. :)

Hee. I'm totally inviting you and Liz to the wedding (again - if there is a wedding. It's still not a foregone conclusion here).

Booth and Tripp/my brother and TC. Sure, I could see that. Everything can be related back to fic, I'm telling ya.
Sing it, sistah.

I have no problem with you calling me sugar pants, honey britches! ;P

Congratulations on not being pregnant. :D

LOL, the bromance conversation was just hilarious. That's adorable! I hope you don't feel too threatened. ;) And VerySeriousInebriated!TC cracked me up. Apparently he's a philosophical drunk. That and a babe-calling drunk. It's a totally logical combination, of course. :P

I'm kind of enjoying dark!Jane. Maybe it's because Simon Baker is so hot when he's dark and angsty. But I'm veeeery intrigued to see where they're going to take the whole "RJ is dead but only Jane and Lisbon know about it" angle. (Ooh, and speaking of which, I REALLY like the opportunities for Jane/Lisbon moments their sharing a secret provides!!)

Thanks for the no-baby congrats. I do feel a little bad about being so up in arms about the whole thing - like I told jillianfish, it's not that I don't like babies. I just don't want to have any, personally. I fully support everyone else's decision to propagate like bunnies.

Drunken TC is indeed a sight to behold. He's usually just so level and easygoing that seeing him a little off-kilter was a real kick.

YAY - A fellow TM fan to ramble to! I agree, dark and angsty Simon Baker is a sight to behold. I just get freaked out because I'm not sure how/if they're going to be able to pull him back from this ledge he seems to be racing toward. I was talking to lizook12 the other day about the fact that I just get worried we're going in a direction like the one they took with House, where our main character is so deeply tormented that there's never any coming back from that. I can handle dark as long as there's some sign of light up ahead ( ... )

Nonono, I totally understand! Babies are adorable and everything, but it's a perfectly valid choice not to want any of one's own. And besides, it's none of anyone's business except yours and TC's.

I have this vague idea about maybe wanting kids someday, but right now? OH HELL NO. I'll just settle for borrowing other people's babies and giving them back when they need their diaper changed or something. :P

Dude. I am always up for TM rambling. That's a fair point about Jane turning into House...DNW. I gave up on watching House a couple seasons ago because he had absolutely zero redeeming characteristics left and I just wanted to smack him all the time ( ... )
