When you close your eyes can you see the silhouettes that continue to move around you? Do you sit there on that one oddly brown patch of grass and watch through your closed eyelids as the people disappear and everything fades from the sunkissed oranges and warm reds of sunlight, to pitch black. Just as darkness is the absence of light, light is the absence of dark. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but what to make of the heartless? The harsh light of day is all too much for a girl like you, but you refuse to let this go. So you sit here, where that old "grass is always greener" expression is completely literal, staring with your eyes wide shut. And you wait. You wait for night to come, for the lights absence to force your heart back to full size.

Because you're sick of living with a heart two sizes too small.
