I just got fired from my job. and they wont tell me why.

I walked through the eatons centre bawling.

I plan on calling human resources tomorrow and demand that they explain themselves to me.

I dont understand how people can be so fake and phony, and so cold. You could've at least apologized to me.

Dont shop at town shoes.

a lot of companies do that.
it's really stupid & doesn't make a lot of sense but it happens.
basically, they fire values workers right before the holiday season.
why? well they then hire a bunch of seasonal workers who will stay through the christmas rush & leave in january.
they then have a "no strings attached" rule and get rid of these "seasonal people" in january.
but none the less, few seasonal works stay.
& in firing you they are paying less in the long run by hiring a seasonal worker to do the job you did but then letting them go in january as opposed to paying you in january and february, march etc...

it's really fucked.
but retail is fucked.
some companies do this more than others & you probably don't want the unstability that comes with working for a company like that.
& please, as if you can't find a better job.
well, i know you can!
in a week you'll be posting about how you have a new job at mateo shoe store right next to town shoes.

no i didnt find out. they fired me for no reason. me and another guy were fired basically in a span of 2 days for the exact same reason.

but we know why they really fired us.

oh courtney I'm so sorry that's bullshit. If I were any type of business owner/hirer I would hire you straight off. They're idiots to fire such an awesome worker like you and the next place you work for will be lucky to have you.
