I've been in a massive Janne Da Arc phase right now and when I found out that the Keyboard player had an online blog, I wanted a piece of it. Though this is only the english translation of the official blog, it's still all good

What you wrote here is something I'll be countlessly reading over and over again days on end. You've pretty much summed up our personal tastes approaching music on guitar. We use plenty of effects just as we like it but approach it all differently to suit our vastly different playing styles. We like our whammy effects differently (I was using it on Arise as a guitar dive bomb on bass for instance). We have a different aural aesthetic, you like consistency, powerful, clean, rich tones and smooth, effective sounds, I like more sick, evil, wrong-sounding noise. And twisted, backward-sounding riffs. That pretty much nailed it on the head. We are the Heaven and Hell of guitar sounds, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Dammit I can't wait to practice these songs out.

johnny i may need u to have a look at my guitar sometime as i dont have a decent tuner to get the pitch right, but its pretty close i reckon, maybe just a very very slight fraction off
