"Dar?" he calls. "Ready when you are."

"It's a guitar, love, not a ferret. C'mere."

"And you think I'm afraid of ferrets? Spiders, yes, but not ferrets."

...he's still hiding a little.

"I don't like ferrets. I think it's the pointy teeth." He starts playing a quiet little folk song to coax Darien out.
