Isn’t it interesting that buy nothing day is a holiday started by the makers (and sellers) of a magazine? I think it's a little odd. Damn yuppie hypocrites!!!!!! Damn you adbusters!!! Still I suppose it's a good idea. We should have one everyday!

i do think its odd that they push several products under the mask of anti consumerist philosophies. anyway, not buying things is still good.

do you remember that show we went to in DC with jordan, sean and sarah, and that girl that complained all the time? yeah, remember those "anti-capatilist" shirts that everyone was wearing at the free trade rally...that they BOUGHT from a WEBSITE. yeah i thought that was funny. good times
