that is like one of my biggest squicks, cutting through skin in that way. what does it look like under there??

For the five minutes before it started bleeding (seriously, I think my skin was as surprised as I was) it was just smooth and blindingly white and slightly shiny. Very strange.

lucky you didn't cut the tendon. I had to get hand surgery because of a wound about that size
