Ultimately why I don't like Superman Returns is…Because I don't view Superman as an icon but as a character. With an icon you can get away a lot more in your plot and storytelling than you could get away with involving a character. i liked it... although i had NO idea what was going on. Brett had to keep wispering to me who so-n-so was or why they were doing whatever... but as a newbie, i enjoyed it as i would any well made movie.

without giving spoilers, all i'll say is: the romance in this movie is ALL f-ed up... that's a rant for me to give you in person. ^^

I am also a lot more jazzed about Ghost Rider, but I do want to see Superman still. I have heard a lot of mixed reviews.
