I think it's a mixture of what ever the hell is in the water and our age. Ugh. We're getting old. Everyone's getting married too.

It's not the amount of babies. That part is fine. I think I have more non-parental friends right now than parental friends. I just think it's weird that almost EVERYONE I know is having boys. 3 girls and 15 boys. That's like 83% boys.

Oh yeah! I missed that part. You're so right.....weird. It's true too. When I was taking all my birthing and baby classes the number of boys to girls was 8:1. Crazy.

That's so weird!! I wonder what it is. I hope it doesn't continue like that. Baby boys are good, but they need baby girls eventually! :)

I'm hoping that by the time I have kids they will have sex selection down so I can get at least one girl.

If you count this one I'm having in the next couple of weeks, thats FOUR boys I've had in the last 4 years, not 3, so you should recalculate.

IT is weird tho, I mean more boys are born than girls, but statistically its 48/52% so ya wouldn't think it would be so uneven. Its weird how that goes.

I have 2 friends, that a few months ago were both due with babies within 2 weeks of me, and between them they have 16 girls but only 2 boys, but only 1 of which is living. Go figure.

I fixed it. 84.2% boys. FREAKY. I knew that the percentage was slightly boy favored, but this is rediculous!!

Do your friends with girls live near each other?

I think mother nature is sifting things out. Fewer females = fewer babies being produced in the long run, and we're already reaching critical mass on the planet as is. When we have our over crowding and pollution undercontrol, perhaps we'll get to have more girls. I remember reading one book which talked about population balances and that whenever there were more boys than girls born in a generation, there's always war down the road.

My brother and his wife are having a girl. They said "Oh no, we're having a boy" to which I said "no, you're having a girl, I dreamt it." Ultrasound proved me right. I had a dream recently about a friend having a baby girl. I thought it strange since I don't usually have those dreams until they're already pregnant or close to being pregnant.

Everyone else I know here and elsewhere who's had kids have had boys.

That makes sense. It seems too extreme to be a coincidence.

I totally beleive in dreams. My mother predicts all the baby sexes in my family and hasn't been wrong once. I think it's neat.

Are we still on for tonight?

I'm such a dumbass, I forgot to call yesterday! Too busy killin' myself doing home repairs.

YES we can have dinner tonight. I have to work, but later, and can do some stuff while we're just kickin' it. Derek gets home around 7:30. I'd planned tacos/ taco salad/ enchiladas or something like that. Sound ok? I've got beans for vegetarian things and will have Derek pick up some stuff on his way home. Shall we say 7pm? 7:30? I don't know what your schedules are like right now.
