An update of what we know. Please guide new arrivals to this information.
We are all taken from separate worlds and times, and placed here, in the city of Discedo, by those known as The Group, or Scientists, or other names. You may be from America, 1946, just a little after the World War II. Or the country of America may have never existed on your Earth, or you might come from a world not called Earth at all. They can all pull us here.
What's more, they are capable of bringing back the dead. Many here who remember dying end up here, quite alive.
They, the group, have not declared their purpose for doing this - but I believe we are here to rebuild and repopulate their planet.
As for why they'd need us for that in the first place. This city, along with the rest of the world, I assume, was devastated by something called the Atropos Virus, an airborne virus that has symptoms that start simply as your normal cold, but in two weeks, result in total organ failure.
All natives of this city are dead, supposedly. The last survivor, Daniel Wallace, died himself after releasing a brief second onslaught of the Atropos virus, but a vaccine was made and distributed by the group.
Monsters also infest this city. The ones most are familiar with are the dogs. They're fast, brutal - do not let them get close. I will have an updated list of monsters in this city soon.
Bringing me to my next point. We do have the beginnings of shelter, here. The safest locations in the city are the Police Station, the Marshall street apartments, and the Latmir apartments. If you see a church, the Marshall apartments are on the other side of the street from it. Harry Mason runs the Marshall street apartments, and Cybil Bennett runs the Police Station.
Another thing to note. If you had supernatural capabilities before, they are shut out in this city. This is due to a chip placed on your neck by the scientists. It restrains your abilities.
And another important fact to this world. Death is not permanent here. Just as they may bring back those who died before, those who die here are also brought back to life - all dropped off at the Hospital. Which, I should tell you, is one of the most infested areas in the city. Be ready to run if you die and end up there.
