Character info
Series/Fandom: Kingdom Hearts
Character's Name: Marluxia
Character's Sex: Male
Character's Age: Unknown; appears to be in his mid-to-late 20s
Canon point: After the first battle with Sora, but before Sora enters the heart of Castle Oblivion to take out Marluxia
Abilities:
Graceful Dahlia: Marluxia wields a pink scythe. The fact that he wields it as easily as he does-with one hand at times-shows that he has massive amounts of physical strength, particularly upper body strength, as scythes are horribly unbalanced weapons.
Petal Blade: Marluxia swings his scythe with enough force to create energy blades that curve in on the target.
Flower Storm: Three whirlwinds are sent out, swirling around. If an enemy is caught in one, the other two will converge and Marluxia will teleport close to slam them with his scythe.
Blossom Shower: Marluxia teleports and swings his scythe at his enemy a few times before teleporting to the center of the area. There, he summons up a large circle with petals floating around inside of it. The petals then attack the target, homing in on it while Marluxia teleports and slams them with his scythe.
Deathscythe: Marluxia floats upwards and sends his scythe out, controlling it from afar to attack multiple time in fairly wide arcs.
Drop Shot: Marluxia drops down from above, slamming his scythe’s blade into the ground. This then causes an exploding fissure over a fairly wide area.
Doom: Marluxia’s most powerful attack. He begins a counter, giving the target six seconds to either break his concentration or to land a hit on him, breaking the counter. Will be limited in SK to just KOing instead of death.
Bloom-Out: Marluxia charges and attack with a large black ring around him. When the ring is fully formed, his scythe is swung multiple times over a large area, causing massive damage. If timed right, he may also summon cherry petals that cover the area of the ring, killing weaker enemies.
Corridors of Darkness: Marluxia is a Nobody and thus has access to Corridors of Darkness.
Flower: His element is Flower, and as such, he has control over plants.
Teleportation: Marluxia is shown to be able to teleport short distances.
Levitation: He is canonly shown as able to levitate not too far off the ground.
Strengths: Marluxia has massive upper-body strength, for one. He also has the ability to control plants and, as a Nobody, the ability to freely travel with corridors of darkness. He also has control over Dusks. He is also exceptionally fast for someone with such an unbalanced weapon, and concentrates on both distance- and close-range tactics.
Weaknesses: He is a Nobody, and thus any travel through a corridor of darkness without a coat could potentially be fatal. And while he has those long-range moves, they take time to charge up. Simply swinging his scythe-which itself can be a hindrance, as the blade is on the inside, requiring him to hook around his target’s body-is far easier than anything else.
Background:
HereAppearance:
Picture!Personality:
Marluxia practically oozes charisma. He is shown being able to manipulate others rather well-whether the unfortunate victim is with or without a heart. He shows this quite well when it comes to Vexen and Sora. The former he manages to talk into walking to his own slaughter, the latter he lures to Castle Oblivion and then draws him deeper with words.
He is slow to anger, and only does so when his plans fall apart completely-such as when he is nearing defeat in the final two battles. Otherwise, he is calm as if he is still in control of any situation. His calmness is what allows him to freely manipulate others without losing control of them. After all, losing one’s temper leads to mistakes, and mistakes are not to be tolerated in the Organization.
He comes across as very arrogant or even vain. He appears with flower petals falling down, and seems to believe he doesn’t deserve the lowly rank of Number 11. He seeks to be in charge. He seems almost obsessed with his superiority, in fact, and often reminds others of this. He is proud of his title of Lord of Castle Oblivion, and doesn’t seem to want to relinquish it.
He speaks in a nearly monotone voice, showing that he doesn’t often pretend to have emotion. While he does smirk or laugh at times, he’s level and rarely has an expression save for the occasional smugness he tends to hold. He doesn’t flinch when Larxene dies and Axel betrays him, instead viewing them both as minor setbacks.
However, he isn’t without his more positive traits. For instance, he perseveres despite all the setbacks in his plan. He also shows to be completely devoted to his task, not once giving up on taking over the Organization.
Marluxia has a very low view of others. They are tools to be used, and once they cease to be useful, they are disposed of. The only exception to this is Larxene, who he possibly knew in their prior lives as revealed in the novels. Regardless, his views on others is revealed through his interactions with Roxas in Days, where he and Larxene idly comments that it’s a shame he couldn’t be more useful as he is.
Strengths: Marluxia is a very charismatic man. He is able to manipulate others quite easily, and while it seems Saïx and Xemnas were able to figure out they were traitors, Marluxia was otherwise hidden as a traitor from most everyone else. He can be quite sneaky, and is good at playing others against each other. He is also quite good at reading others and analyzing their desires and moves.
Weaknesses: However, he is very arrogant and vain. He often underestimates others, and can misjudge how others will affect each other-such as Sora and Naminé, or Axel and Naminé. He also has a tad bit of a superiority complex, and the only one who is remotely equal is Larxene-due to a possible shared past.

[She’s gone. Just like that, with one battle, Larxene is gone. He had underestimated the boy-underestimated Axel--and now look where he is. He stares long and hard into the crystal ball. Very well. If Sora and Axel wish to play it this way, then he will go along with it. Victory will be his in the end, and he’ll pay them back for the loss of his partner. But first…
Darkness wraps around him tightly, and in seconds, he finds himself standing only steps away from Naminé.]

Oh, how the mighty had fallen. Never Was happened to be in ruins. Xemnas was long dead. Only he, Larxene and Zexion remained. It was as if all his dreams had come true, if it could be called that. And yet, there were many problems to worry about. The Heartless were doing more than ever to eliminate the worlds, and any victory Marluxia could have claimed would have been hollow. He couldn't feel, and standing atop the roof of the Gizmo Shop only reminded him of that very fact. It wass all hollow. The victory over Xemnas. The fact that he could unite what little was left of the Organzation now and in the future. The power he possessed simply by being there. But that mattered little.
There was, after all, much work to be done.
Have you read the rules and F.A.Q.s?: Yes. Now I’m gonna go share a paopu with my SO while I wait for the response to this. :T
