Well, unfortunately what you major in your school does not always become your profession. I am a prime example. My major in undergraduate is 'French Literature' and 'Educational Psychology' in graduate school. (I did not go to graduate school until after working several years to save money for school though) But what I do now? I am a manager of 'production planning, inventory control, and purchasing'; totally different field! Have I ever regreted? No! I love what I do now, and my study at school was not totally a waste either. I still admire 'literature' as a hobby, and 'psychology' helped dealing with difficult people at work ( ... )

Grandma's five cents are always valuable! :D
So I'll just keep on with university and then the course and stuff, and when I'm decent at what I'm doing now, I might attack Literature *-*

I'm with Jun here. Why don't you follow your desires now, who knows for what's good sometimes.
There are always opportunities to use both.
Maybe you become a writer and you'll design clothes
additionally aside from writing, or the other way around...
or who knows maybe you you'll become some a totally different
profession, but you can use all this you learned yet!
It wouldn't hurt if you're going to let your heart leads you, now.
Otherwise maybe you'll regret later, never have given a try
what you really wanted to do!

Be bold!

And good luck furthermore with the psychologist.

*hugs you*

Jesus Christ! And here I thought we had a weird system, it IS pretty brutal to make a 10 year old decide what he wants, when I was 10 I wanted to be a veterinarian, but when I realized you actually have to cut animals open and stuff, I decided againt it x_x

That's a harsh system you've got there
