some bad news...

.... Unfortunately, I do have some tragic news... During the holidays, my cat Ariel (aka "moo moo") was very sick. On christmas eve we took her into a clinic and the doctor diagnosed her with just an upper respiratory problem and sent her home. Since then, twice a day we force fed her pedialite and her antibiotics. She wasn't getting any better ( Read more... )

i'm so sorry... i cant say i know entirely how you feel because i was never put in the exact situation. i dont know how i would've been able to see my cat like that and hold her... when i left Syria i had to leave my cat behind forever, and i can still remember her getting away from my uncle's arms and running after our car. she thought we were just leaving for school or something... it was so sad. i still cry when i see her pictures, but at least i didnt see her die. i really dont know what to tell you, but i'm glad you're doing okay. i love you sweety

I love you to sweetey, and thank you for your comment. I'm so sorry you had to leave your cat behind in Syria. To me that's an even worse situation knowing your cat's still here and you can't see it. That's so sad, I'm sorry. *Sigh*

Anyways, how did your registration go? What classes are you taking? I need to call you or something so we can catch up with everything. I miss you so much! Have an awesome day!

Hey Ashley, I'm so sorry to hear about Ariel. She was an awesome cat. Losing an animal you've had that long is like losing a family member. When my parents got rid of my cats Kiki and Jake after 12 years just because they "got tired of them", I thought I'd never get over it. It still hurts to think about. I know Ariel had a good life. As for keeping her ashes in your room, if that's what you want to do, you should do it. I wouldn't think it was weird. Call me if you ever want to talk or just hang out. I saw Arie and I might work with her (if I get the job) so we could hang out like old times! She said she misses it so much. Well I've talked to long. See you later!

Thank you Jamie... I'm sorry about Kiki and Jake too, that's aweful! Yeah, I'll probably keep the ashes on my shelf anyways, mostly because I won't have the heart to bury her. Yeah, we totally need to hang out again.... AWWWW!!! I MISS ARIE TOO!!! Totally, we so need to all get together again! Good times... good times... Well, it's off to work for me. I hope you find a job soon! Talk to you later!

I'm sorry ashley! i was devistated when my cats died too. every cat i've had has escaped and been eaten by cyotes. its hard trying to keep cookie inside all the time now because we don't want to chance it. Cats are hard pets to loose. their so sweet and loving. anyways, feel better

Thank you dear. Yeah, the cyotes got a hold of all my other cats too. Luckily Ariel wasn't a fan of the oil fields so we were safe there. Thank you for your concern. I hope everything is going well with you.
