I'm not sure if you're aware, but there's the option of screening each comment before it becomes viewable by the public. You read each of the comments you receive and then decide whether or not you want them to be posted. Perhaps that'll solve your problem.

I believe you can go to Edit Info and select the appropriate answer after the question "Which replies do you want screened by default?"
