Junsu changed into the uniform and walked outside the changing rooms. The coach was waiting for him, but so were another twenty boys, the players were there.

Taking a deep breath junsu tried not to run away, he walked to the coach, his face as red as his uniform was.

As they walked out to the field everyone stood in circle around junsu, as if waiting for him to say something, he was scared, he didn't know what they expected him to say

'Well…' the boy wearing the number five uniform spoke out loud ' introduce yourself'

Junsu swallowed dry, he tried to take in a deep breath as he spoke. His voice is a little bit above a whisper:' I'm… I'm park junsu, nice to… to meet you all'

Junsu repeated the words his hyung helped him memorize last night. He looked around him and back at the coach, almost pleading him with his eyes to help him out in this

'Oaky…' the same boy spoke again ' I'm Jaejoong, I'm the captain' he began and introduced the other team members to the scared junsu. Junsu kept bowing his head to everyone as they eyed him. He was almost in tears, he wanted yoochun there with him, but he wasn't. He was nowhere in sight.

'Okay, let's begin with practice. Jae, you're in charge of the new boy'

Jae, who turned out to be jaejoong, the captain, made a face not liking this, but he gave in under the stern glaze the coach was giving him

'Fine, come with me' he sighed and pointed to junsu, who followed him at once, hoping the boy would be good to him, hoping that yoochun would pop out of the nowhere and save him, hoping to survive this

'Take a ball and begin, try to get past me'

Junsu nodded, still worried, he walked to the balls filled net shivering and unable to hide the slight shiver in his hands as he reached for the ball. Still, when the ball was on the grass, when he stood there with the ball in front of him facing jaejoong, all the nervousness vanished, and in its place a fierce feeling filled junsu, his passion for the game filled him and drove him so he began running

Jaejoong eyed the boy with an expert's eye; everyone was standing by the side and watching them. As worried and innocent the boy looked as a good player he was on the field. Running, avoiding, going throw, attacking, passing and scoring, he was good in everything, it was clear he liked the game

The whistle was heard and the coach walked to them. Both jaejoong and junsu were panting and fighting for the ball which was between both their legs now.

'So, what do you think?'

'He's not a useless brat, he's good' jaejoong panted

'He's the other forward alongside you starting now, work hard together'

Junsu smiled happily, nodding his head like a little boy, he was on the team, he was a main player, he was a forward, and he will get to play as he wants. He was so happy he almost, almost, began jumping up and down.

'Let's begin practice now' the coach began and everyone nodded. All players got onto the field and they began running around the field, junsu alongside them.

Jaejoong eyed junsu all through practice. The boy was like an angel off the field and a devil on the field. When he got the ball he will play like there's no tomorrow, he will play a perfect game. When they're on break or when practice ends he'll turn into the sweet angel one more time and he'll stay so close to him, afraid to stray far away from him or the coach, afraid to get close to anyone he didn't know.

'Good play today'

'Thank you' junsu bowed a little, sweat covering him as he wiped his sweat with his t-shirt

'Here' jaejoong handed him his towel ' I'm older than you, call me hyung. And starting tomorrow, bring a sport bag with you, get a few towels, water, some clothes and a few things in it'

'Yes… hyung' junsu blushed as he spoke it; he never called anyone but yunho and changmin hyung before. It was new to him

'Young master' the driver walked into the room and bowed to junsu ' time to go home, sir'

'Okay' junsu pouted a little, he handed jaejoong his towel back and looked at him ' do you want me to give you a ride?'

'No, thank you, but I need to go shopping and prepare dinner for my younger brother'

Junsu pouted but nodded his head, bowed his head goodbye and left with the driver, telling him to take him to the mall to go and buy a sport bag and towels and stuff, he was hyper about joining the team, for sure.

Junsu skipped to the car and entered, looking to see changmin, his hyung, sitting there and smiling at him

'How was practice?' changmin asked, although the smile on junsu's lips spoke it all

'Perfect hyung' junsu began and began telling his hyung everything about his day, happy to tell and happy to see changmin smile at him and ruffle his hair as he finished

'Okay, let's go to the mall. Hyung will buy you everything you want and then treat you to lunch'

'Really…?' junsu's eyes became round with happiness and changmin couldn't but chuckle at his baby brother, he was the cutest thing he ever saw, after all.

Yoochun got into the limo, the cigarette still in between his fingers; he opened the window a little and looked outside, not wanting to face his father much, he was sure this wasn’t good. Watching the rode as the car drove on yoochun's feeling of nothing good coming out of this visit only increased. They weren't going home; they weren't going to the company as well. Why didn't his father wait for him to come back home and talk? Why come to him here and take him to god knows where to talk?

Park Jung Soo watching his son, he didn't say a word about the cigarette in yoochun's hand. He knew now why he smoke, he didn't say anything but watched him in silence till the car parked

'Come on' he sighed and they both got out, he led the way into the restaurant and yoochun followed him closely behind

Sitting to a table beside an opened window so yoochun could smoke he waved to the waiter who rushed to them handing them each a menu

'I'm not hungry' yoochun sighed, reaching the cigarette to his lips and inhaling from it before exhaling the smoke

'Eat something, how about grilled meat with some beer?'

'You're allowing me to smoke and you're inviting me to drink, why?'

'We'll talk over lunch' his father sighed, looking at the waiter once again ' grilled meat for two and two beers, salads and spicy sauce'

The waiter bowed, collected the menus and rushed away. Yoochun smoked some more, his father didn't spoke but eyed him

When the little grill was brought to the table and with the raw ribs and the salads and the beer Park Jung Soo began grilling the meat, still not talking

Yoochun grabbed the beer and sipped some, his mind racing to think what could have happened

'You're going to be able to fight on Sunday with your shoulder?' his father asked and yoochun's eyes widened at once, the cigarette dropped from his hand as he eyed his father as if it was the first time he ever saw his father, like if he didn't know him

'What did you just say?' yoochun blinked

'You heard me yoochun, I didn't stumble' his father sipped some of his own beer

'How…?'

'It's not a difficult task for me to get a hold of your medical records you know. That match at the championship when you dislocated your shoulder did more than just dislocate it, didn't it?'

Yoochun didn't answer

'You can't use your right shoulder as you used to, that's why you have to quit your best sport, that's why you started smoking. Smoking helped you vent out what the practice helped vent out before'

Yoochun looked at the cigarette in his fingers and sighed; he threw it into the ashtray and made himself busy flipping the meat which was being grilled

'I am right, aren't I?' his father sounded sad

'It's a crime to read someone's medical records without his agreement' yoochun frowned ' I'm not weak; I didn't want anyone to know'

'And I won't tell anyone. But sometimes it's better to ask for help, for support, when you need it'

Yoochun just sighed:' I tried another sports, things that don't require me using my shoulder… but, I don't like them much. Coach says I can probably go back to practice in a few years, when my injury is fully healed. But till then I'll smoke'

'What happened to your shoulder? I thought it was fine as the doctor fixed it'

'It looks like when the shoulder was dislocated whatever soft tissues or substance, I don't remember, between the two bones of my shoulder got infected and now it's too fragile and so I can't fight with it without feeling pains' yoochun sighed ' I was practicing a new move a few months ago when I felt the pain first. Coach took me to the hospital and the doctor diagnosed it, he said I'm not allowed to play again. So, this Sunday will be my last match' yoochun sighed softly, watching the pieces of meat getting burnt but not bothering to remove them from the fire. His father did, eventually.

'And the college classes…?'

'I wanted to fill up my free time with something productive that doesn't require me to use my shoulder, so I decided to go for it'

'I see…' his father sighed, feeling sorry for his son ' eat up, we'll see a doctor together, the best doctor there is and we'll see what he says' he assured his son who just nodded.
