A/N: Sorry for not posting for too long, I've just finished my exams and I had a fever for a couple of days, I guess I overworked myself agian, but I'm better now, sort of
When junsu opened his eyes once again, he sighed, looking around once again he blinked. Something wasn't right. Why was he near a river this time? The two previous fairytales he was stuck as a poor, maid, boy or being attacked in the woods and running away in the stormy night hoping to find a place to hide from the rain and cold
But, this time he was dressed nicely, even if he was near a river, he was dressed in silk and was sitting on a velvet pillow in the middle on the river's bank, he was relaxing and looking at a tiny, fluffy kitten playing with a yarn ball and smiling
Over his silky clothes junsu was wearing a long white cloak, it covered him from shoulders till toes and the hood would cover his head and half his face when he wears it on. Beside him, there was a basket half filled with blueberries and some flowers
Junsu spent a while looking at the kitten, she looked happy playing with her yarn ball, junsu smiled and wished is life was as simple as that, but it wasn't, he knew it. For one, he was stuck in this weird world, without knowing when he's allowed to go back home, or even if he was going to be able to go back home. Two, he had been kissing the jerk, spoiled, brat, the bane of his entire existence and he hated the fact that he was kissing him. Moreover, he hated even more the fact that the jerk was such a good kisser and that he did wonders to him with that damned mouth of his
Finally, when the sun began to vanish behind the treetops, junsu stood up and grabbed his basket, he noticed that the kitten stopped playing and was following him at once, junsu began walking
Not knowing where to go, or even if he had a company in this place, maybe someone waiting for him somewhere or even a home, he walked. He just walked. He hoped that it would work and that he would reach where he's supposed to, just like the previous fairytale.
Junsu hadn't been walking for more than ten minutes when he heard the sound, a horse rushing towards him.
Scared and not sure junsu pulled the hood over his head and face, he didn't know why he felt safer doing it but he did
Seconds later a horse rushed to him, the man on the horse stopped upon seeing him and eyed him, he too was wearing a cloak with a hood and didn't show his face but he was mumbling to himself like a madman
The man got off his horse and walked to junsu, without any warning whatsoever he pushed junsu against the nearest tree and slammed his lips to his own kissing him
Junsu gasped, not believing what was going on, a total stranger was kissing him! A total stranger was kissing him so skillfully, damn the man was good, better than the spoiled brat, junsu decided.
Long minutes passed before the stranger pulled away and allowed junsu to breath. His swollen lips were the least of junsu's problems right now. His mind wasn't functioning, his entire body was on fire and his face felt like if he was having a fever, he was horny and although he couldn't believe he would want such a thing, but he wanted this stranger.
'Damn better that the brat!' the stranger hissed and removed the hood
Junsu's eyes went wide underneath his hood; even though the stranger couldn't see him junsu didn't believe this was him, this was Park Yoochun, the jerk, the bane of his existence, and he wanted him!
Yoochun, however, seemed to be in his own world, mumbling to himself and frowning so hard that his eyebrows actually formed a knot
'I…' yoochun turned to look at him, at a loss of words
'Do you always greet strangers like this?' junsu couldn't hold back but hissed
Yoochun's eyes widened as he heard the so annoying, so familiar sound
As junsu stood still in front of him yoochun couldn't but reach his hand and pull the hood down, exposing the face of Kim junsu
'You…I…' yoochun looked speechless, once again.
Junsu cracked an eyebrow at the man. He was so angry with him, with himself, right now. How could he let himself get horny by the jerk's kiss?
'Really rich, Park' junsu rolled his eyes at the speechless man
This, seemed to snap yoochun out of his daze
'This must be a prank, you set me up. This isn't real!' yoochun was almost yelling now
'Yea sure, I was the one who pushed a total stranger against a tree and kissed him senseless' junsu mucked, but a little too late he realized the mistake he made, he just admitted to yoochun, to the jerk, that he was kissed senseless by him!
'Senseless you say?' yoochun smirked
'Focus' junsu frowned ' we need to find out which fairytale this is and finish it so we can leave!' junsu changed the subject
The change of subject wasn't lost on yoochun, he noticed it but decided to let it go this time because they really did need to finish this and leave already, he needed to go home, he had so many things to think about.
'Okay, let's talk'
Junsu sighed and the two of them sat down on the grass, the horse and the kitten were nearby, standing and watching them as if guards
'So, what fairytale do you think this is?' yoochun frowned
'I don't know. I found myself sitting to the river and watching the kitten play with a ball of yarn with this basket beside me' junsu pointed at the blueberry basket
'I found myself in a castle at the other end of the forest' yoochun pointed went, to the direction where he came from ' I was supposed to go somewhere and meet some princess or whatever, I was so confused and needed time to think'
'So he thinks' junsu mucked quietly
Yoochun hit the boy and rolled his eyes at him ' does it ring any bells?'
'I don't know. It's too soon to find out' junsu sighed
'Great, just great' yoochun frowned
'When must you go back?'
'Soon, some guards are waiting for me on the edge of the forest; if I'm not out shortly, they will send a search party'
'How about this' junsu began ' you go, go back to this castle of yours and try to search for the black book around the castle. I doubt I'll be able to find it in the forest, but I shall try, and we meet here at sunrise and try to figure out which fairytale this is'
'Okay, you got yourself a deal' yoochun nodded
'Good' junsu stood up ' but you're not allowed to kiss me gain, until it's time'
Yoochun stood speechless once again, he only frowned and walked to his horse, he didn't know how to answer this.
_______________
Junsu waited till yoochun was gone and began walking again, he went in the direction of the east, wanting to get as far away from yoochun as possible right now, he marked the way by leaving flowers and blueberries around to make a trail, while he walked deeper and deeper in to the forest
Finally, it was that junsu reached a small wooden hut in the middle of the forest; the hut was in an opening and looked like something out of a fairytale. Wait. it was out of a fairytale, junsu rolled his eyes. The two floors hut looked so pretty with flowers planted all around it
Walking to the hut junsu didn't knock, for some reason he didn't knock, but walked in.
Inside the house there were two men working on a big cake, junsu smiled at them nervously and entered the hut
'Oh, dear, you're late' one of the two men walked to him
'It's alright, Jaejoong, I'm sure he was spending a good time picking up blueberries and flowers' the second man chuckled and jaejoong sighed and shook his head, it looked like he always spent too much time in the forest
'Well, then' jaejoong began ' Yunho and I have finished preparing your cake, and changmin is just preparing your gift, why don't you go to your bedroom and place the basket?'
Junsu just nodded and looked at a loss, where was he to go?
Just then, the kitten ran past him and up the small, wooden staircase, junsu followed her at once, if it didn't lead to his bedroom he would simply say he was rushing after the kitten, trying to get her back.
However, the staircase did lead to his bedroom. Junsu sat on the bed and looked around, he searched everywhere but the black book was nowhere to be found, he just hoped that yoochun would find his own
Lying on the bed and closing his eyes junsu bit his lower lip, he couldn't believe how heated that kiss was, he couldn't believe how…
'Junsu, honey, come down' the voice wasn't jaejoong's, he realized, nor was it yunho's. So it must be changmin's. Junsu wasn't sure if he was happy or angry that the man had interrupted his walk down memory lane. But, he walked downstairs nonetheless.
'Come sit down, everything is ready' the man, changmin, smiled at him charmingly and junsu couldn't but feel that something was wrong
'You don't have any plans for later, right dear?' jaejoong asked again
Junsu blinked, he hesitated to answer this, but finally he did. 'I'm… I'm meeting yoochun in the forest at sunrise, he's a friend'
All three pairs of eyes were wide and eyeing him right now, they all looked shucked
'A man, a man in the forest' changmin gasped, covering his mouth with his palm as if it was such a crime
'Junsu, sweetie, when did you meet this friend?' jaejoong looked scared
'Today' junsu answered, he couldn't say he met him in another world now, could he?
'But this can't happen, you can't meet him!' changmin repeated, shocked
'What? Why?' junsu began to get worried
'You must go back tonight honey, you must go back to your parents and you know how dangerous the forest is at night. You know you're not allowed in it after sunset' yunho spoke
'But…' junsu tried to argue, he must meet yoochun! He must find out which fairytale this was!
'This is final' yunho began; it seemed as if he was the leader of the group ' you must go back to your parents at your nineteenth birthday, as agreed long ago'
'But…' junsu wasn't sure he wanted to go; he won't have the chance to meet yoochun for god knows when and he did have a bad feeling about this, there was something wrong going to happen
'I think we better go, the forest is not as safe as we thought it was. We should go now to be on the safe side' changmin frowned
Yunho nodded
'Junsu honey,' jaejoong began, he looked like the motherly figure in the group
'I…' junsu shook his head, still refusing to go, he must meet with yoochun first
'It's for your own good, honey' jaejoong repeated, he whispered something, and junsu's world became dark all of a sudden
_______________
Junsu opened his eyes and looked around, he was in bed, but he wasn't in the wooden hut anymore, he was in some castle for sure, this bedroom could only be in a castle.
'You're awake'
Junsu turned to look at the three men looking at him, he sat up at once. He needed to go back. He needed to meet with yoochun!
'Where am I? What happened?'
'You're home now, my prince' jaejoong bowed his head a little
'What?' junsu blinked, this must be wrong. Two fairies he lived in this world, and although in one of them he was a prince, he was never in his own castle, he was always in yoochun's castle. Yoochun was the prince; he was the poor man who would go through all the troubles
'Nineteen years ago…' changmin began ' the king and the queen of this world finally, after many years of trying, were blessed with an heir. A pretty, baby boy, whom they loved and cherished above all, on the baby's first birthday they threw up a party…'
Junsu breathed in sharply, he knew what this is going to be about now, he knew which fairytale this was, Sleeping beauty.
At the realization of this junsu tuned out jaejoong's voice, he already knew this fairytale, this wasn't important. The important thing was that in this fairytale, wasn't the prince that kissed the princess one who came a hundred years after?
Junsu's heart was filled with horror at the thought of him waiting here a hundred years. He didn't want this, he didn't want to wait! He must do something; he couldn't let this happen, no.
'…and so, on your nineteenth birthday, we bring you back to your castle, to your parents and people' jaejoong finished, tears in his eyes
Changmin held out the wrapped box which was to be his present. He opened it and pulled out a golden crown which he placed on junsu's head, smiling weakly
'Welcome home, your highness' he spoke gently
Yunho saw the color drain out of junsu's face, he saw how scared the boy had became, but he didn't think much of it, he was sure it was because the facts were too much for the boy to know all at once. He needed time.
'How about we give you some time to rest before you meet with the king and the queen?' he spoke softly and junsu nodded his head, worried
Junsu watched the three men walk out of the bed room and stood up at once; the cloak fell off his shoulders as he walked around the room. He knew he couldn't go out of the door; there would be guards and the three wizards waiting for him there. No, he must find another way to escape
Junsu noticed the huge fireplace; it was wide enough for a car to park in it. Junsu walked to it and stepped in; the fire took only a small spot in the huge fireplace, so junsu had enough space to walk around it and look, to his delight he found a small door to the right side of the fireplace, a secret passageway for sure.
Making up his mind at once junsu opened the door and stepped into the total darkness. He must get out and warn yoochun, he couldn't wait here a hundred years, yoochun didn't know about fairytales, he won't know anything about him, he will wait for him in the forest and when he won't show up yoochun will leave and never come back, he'll live his life here treated as a prince, maybe he'll become a king, before he dies and junsu would be stuck here, without yoochun he won't be able to finish the fairytales and he too will be stuck, he couldn't allow this to happen!
Junsu ran and ran, unfortunately for him; running into the total darkness isn't a wise thing to do, junsu missed the staircase and fell down, tripping down the steps until his body finally hit a solid ground. Junsu stood up and tried to feel his way around, not wanting another accident. He found something made out of wood, it was thin and tall as if a stick, a torch, junsu thought.
Junsu reached to find the tip of this torch; if he could light it then he would be able to find his way around
Even as he felt his way around junsu knew something was wrong with this torch, it had some yarn wrapped around it and not cloth wet with oil, the tip was getting thinner and thinner and when he finally touched the tip he let out a loud gasp, it was sharp as if a needle.
In the split second he had junsu knew what must have happened, but he fore he could do anything he felt his eyes close on their own and he fell down, hitting the ground.
_______________
Yoochun reached back to his castle and began searching. He searched everywhere till he found the damned book hidden in the dungeons, why was it there he had no idea, but nonetheless he opened it and began reading to the light of the torches around him:
Once Upon a time, in a far, far away kingdom lived a kind king loved by all his subjects with his pretty wife. They had one son, the prince and the heir of the crown. The prince was always a wild spirit who liked to break the laws and the king's orders to do as he pleased. But, he owned a noble heart and a kind smile, even if he didn't show them much often.
One day, the king reached to his son and told him that he had arranged for him to meet with a lovely princess of a nearby kingdom as it was about time the prince got married and had a family of his own.
Confused by his sexuality and not willing to get married the prince ran to the nearby forest and there he met the pretty young man who made his heart go wild.
As the two got to know each other they agreed to meet in the same spot at sunrise, but they didn't know that the meeting wasn't to happen. As the young man was to return to his family and never come back to the forest once again…
'Damn it!' yoochun swore ' he's not coming!' he swore again and again. What was he to do now? How was he to know which damn fairytale this was, if he didn't have the know-it-all brat to help him?
Yoochun spent the night pacing in his bedroom, the next couple of days he spent taking it out on everyone in the castle. Everyone noticed his bad mood; everyone noticed how angry he was. Even the king and queen tried to talk to him, but he ignored them as well.
Yoochun kept checking the book every hour or so, hoping for new words to appear in it, but none appeared, he had to do something to stir things up and he knew exactly what to do.
On the third day, yoochun mounted his horse and stirred it toward the forest, urging the animal to go faster all the time.
Three knights were with yoochun, not that he paid them any attention. He kept on going till he reached the spot where he met junsu. He began looking around and soon he found the trail of flowers and blueberries leading in the other direction. Yoochun urged his horse again and began following the trail knowing that junsu had flowers and blueberries in his basket when he first met him.
It was a while later before yoochun reached an old wooden hut; the place looked abandoned for years. Nonetheless yoochun entered the place, deciding to search and ask anyone he sees about the boy.
The hut looked the same on the inside, it was old and abandoned. But as he reached the second floor he noticed the basket of blueberries and flowers in the corner of the bedroom he was in. even if the flowers were dead and so were the blueberries, yoochun knew for sure that it was junsu's basket.
'Your highness, this hut is in the territory of the next kingdom, it's not on our lands' a knight explained
Yoochun's mind began working so fast, if this hut belonged to the other kingdom then the king must know who lived in it, he will be able to help him locate junsu down, for sure.
Walking out of the hut and mounting his horse again yoochun rushed toward the other kingdom, toward the king, he wanted answers. He needed them. And he was going to get them.
_______________
It was sunset again when yoochun reached the castle with the three knights behind him, he looked at the castle and blinked, this was strange for sure.
'What happened here?' one of the knights gasped
'Black magic for sure' another answered
'That would explain why there is no one around as well'
Yoochun didn't know why, but the scene of the castle surrounded by all the poisoned ivy and the thorns looked familiar from somewhere…
Yoochun couldn't believe he was doing this, but he reached and with his sword ready in his hand he stirred his horse toward the thorns and urged him forward. Yoochun was cutting and chopping off the thorns and the poisoned ivy with his sword, making a way for him and the horse to pass through and toward the castle
Yoochun was almost half way to the castle when he saw him, the lone figure of Kim Junsu standing in front of him, half naked and body wet, looking at him with a smirk, yoochun watched him go past him and to the left, pointing at him seductively to follow
Yoochun swallowed and shook his head; the idiot looked so damn hot with his half wet body.
Yoochun was so close to following the man, to kiss him or kill him he didn't decide yet, but he wanted to follow him. But, he didn't. He felt something strange about this junsu, something wasn't right. Junsu won't try and seduce him like this, he hated him! This wasn't real
Going forward still yoochun watched as the figure of junsu vanished into black smoke and shuddered at the idea of what would have happened to him if he did follow him, it was a trap after all.
Next, yoochun was stunned to see his latest girlfriend; the girl was almost naked and was trying to seduce him by rubbing her body against a pole, yoochun frowned. In the real world, he wouldn't have ever passed such an opportunity to have sex with the girl, she was hot. But, in this world, yoochun decided she didn't look hot enough, she wasn't appealing
Going right past her yoochun watched her too become a black smoke and vanish. He then saw something else to his right. It was a twinkling light which revolved to be a square mirror which reflected not yoochun's image, but an image of his school, mansion, friends and girlfriends; it was showing him his home,
The mirror glowed and as if a door it opened from the middle, as if showing him the way back home.
This time, yoochun was so tempted to reach for the mirror and try; he wanted to leave home more than anything. But, then he remembered the figures of junsu and his girlfriend. They were both illusions, and so will this one be. It was trying to distract him, he needed to focus and reach the damn castle.
_______________
When yoochun finally reached the other side of the poisoned ivy and thorns jungle he had been injured in several places. His hands were red with rashes of the poisoned ivy and his face and hands were covered with cuts from the thorns
He didn't care right now; the feeling inside of him that he was doing the right thing was getting bigger and bigger, stronger, with every second.
Yoochun rushed into the castle, hoping to find the king or anyone to help him in there. He rushed to the castle ignoring the knights, still stuck in the jungle around the castle, unable to clear up a path to reach the other side
Yoochun ran up the stairs and into the castle. He began searching every room and every hall there is, they were all empty, no one was there, just like the hut in the woods, no one was there, too.
Yoochun still didn't give up, he had one last place to search, it was the highest tower of all, he had winced at the idea of climbing up so many stairs and left it to the last, hoping not to need to search it.
Making his way up the stairs yoochun noticed it was well after sunset now, he had spent hours between making his way to the castle and between searching it's every room
Finally, as yoochun reached the last step in the tower, he noticed it was only one room there. He entered it and looked.
The room was empty but for one bed in the middle of it, on the bed there was someone sleeping, someone whom yoochun recognized very well.
Junsu wasn't the only one in the room. There was this man, dressed in all black, he was holding his sword up high and trying to kill junsu, he wanted to kill the boy
'YOU' yoochun yelled, startling him
The man turned around to look, but yoochun was quicker, he stabbed the jerk before he could do anything but gasp.
Yoochun looked at the man fall down on the floor, he was dying and black ink was oozing out of him, yoochun tried to ignore him as he looked at junsu and hissed
'While I was working my butt off you were sleeping here, huh, jerk!' he hissed
Yoochun tried shaking junsu awake, roughly too, but it wasn't working. Junsu wasn't waking up.
Yoochun was reached to shake him again, when the man on the ground tried to reach for him, to take revenge. With that he grabbed yoochun's ankle, trying to trip him so he'll be able to stab him and so the two of them will die together, at least.
This, however, didn't work out so well, as yoochun tripped he didn't fall forward but fell sideway, somehow yoochun had ended on top of the bed, on top of junsu, and somehow their mouths had touched, they were kissing.
Yoochun inhaled sharply, but didn't pull back. Soon there was a soft moan and junsu opened his eyes looking at yoochun
'Who the hell, you think you are, sleeping here like this, sleeping beauty?' yoochun hissed angrily
'In fact yes' junsu smirked ' that's exactly what I am' he grinned
Yoochun was about to yell something else but the man pulled on his ankle once again before finally gasping one last time and vanishing. Again yoochun's mouth fell on top of junsu's, this time with a little help, thought. And they were kissing again as the world around them turned black and they were whisked away into the darkness…
